At the Highland Vineyard, church isn’t just a place to go on Sundays—it’s a way to encounter the God who can change your life! We hope you’ll find a place to belong here in our community. More importantly, we pray that you’ll experience the love of God in a tangible way. Thanks for checking us out. If you visit, we think you’ll understand what makes the experience “Church Done Differently.”
We gather for a time of worship every Sunday at 10:30 am. We’re located in the Highlands of Louisville, just off Bardstown Road at the corner of Maryland & Cowling. Our address is 1649 Cowling Avenue.
But WAIT! I have some questions…
We understand that sometimes it helps to know what to expect when you walk into a new church. Here are some common questions and answers to help you feel more at ease. If you have any more questions that you don’t see answered here, we welcome you to contact the church at firstname.lastname@example.org
What do I wear?
We’re more interested in who you are than what you’re wearing. Around here you’re more likely to see casual clothing than Sunday finest.
How will the service go?
The 10:30 service will have a list of songs followed by some announcements and a message. We dismiss children to Kids’ Connection following the music but before the message.
What’s Kid’s Connection?
We’re so glad you asked! We have a group of volunteers who love working with kids. Start by signing your kids into Kid’s Connection at the back of the sanctuary. Children are encouraged to worship with their families at 10:30 and then they are ushered back to their own classes following the announcements. We have classes for infants through the 6th grade.
Does my teenager have to sit through a sermon?
Anyone is welcome to enjoy a great message in the sanctuary. We also have a group (FUEL) geared specifically toward teenagers that meets at 10:00 in the basement of the cafe.
